seeing that lanky ass monster is chilling, and the fact that something followed us home to either kill us/get dragged away by something is nerve wracking, im wondering how the other dates will go and how far this fae spooks will go.
(i will say i played through the D3 bad ends, in which i didnt expect certain aspects that soon, but eh, i was playing with fire and got too curious.)
Man I was NOT expecting that particular ending to date one lmao. Love what you've been doing so far <3 it's dark and twisted but in a way that's still fun, and the atmosphere of tension and kinda whimsigoth horror/weirdness (outside of the bad(?) endings, tho I liked them too, it's just different vibes) is so interesting. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update.
Also wanted to say thanks bc I've been wanting to do some kind of game of my own for a while and playing this and remembering the fun/community of indie games has been hella inspiring. :D
Idk if you already solved this, but maybe try being more eager/exited about the whole in-game ordeal. What I did was focusing on Tenebris without being rude to Keith, just more of indifferent. Then choose the options where MC is visibly thrilled about the danger. You may also wanna try changing your plant option at the start of the game, I'm not 100% sure if this has to do with it but I did change it after a few tries and one of these combinations eventually worked, so..
This game was so cool, I love that style I love the characters I love the story. I still feel like we're going to die though, also why must we choose between them 💔 I know like in certain parts you can choose one of them or both of them but it feels so wrong

You can't die from the spider plant. Are you talking about the fae on Date 4? That happens when you get two of the three choices in the forest wrong. The way to pass it is to not look at it, to avoid running and to go right.
I tested every choice combination and the bad ending was triggered every time unless I got all three choices right. Idk if that's maybe a bug or something.
do you have the old game version? itch.io games don't update the game you downloaded. so you have to re-download after all updates to get the newest version. Hope that helps!
You slip into the fae realm by mistake in the middle of your date. A powerful fae takes notice of you and follows you home. If you don't pick the right choices, you may die at its hands by the end of the day.
